Versele-Laga Colombine Grit with Redstone is a superior mixed grit for pigeons and includes gastric grinding stones, silex stones, oyster shell, redstone, charcoal and aniseed. Because they do not have teeth, it's important for pigeons to eat grit. Once in the gizzard, the grit acts as the pigeon's teeth and performs the grinding actions necessary to make food digestible.
