Versele-Laga Colombine Grit with Redstone is a superior mixed grit for pigeons and includes gastric grinding stones, silex stones, oyster shell, redstone, charcoal and aniseed. Because they do not have teeth, it's important for pigeons to eat grit. Once in the gizzard, the grit acts as the pigeon's teeth and performs the grinding actions necessary to make food digestible. The gastric grinding stones and silex stones act as the pigeons teeth, the charcoal and redstone promote optimal digestion and solid droppings, whilst the oyster shell provides essential calcium for strong bones and good health. Aniseed is a natural attractant for pigeons to help keep them feeding regularly.

Instructions for Use:

• Versele-Laga Colombine Grit with Redstone comes pre-washed and sterilised and should be fed all year round.

• Make available in a separate tray, grit station or cage cup and refresh daily.

Composition:
Redstone, seashells, oyster shells, limestone, stomach gravel, flint, charcoal, anise (0.2%).

Analytical Constituents:
Crude ash 98.5% (41% ash insoluble in HCl), calcium 23%, sodium 0.15%, phosphorus 0.02%, lysine 0%, methionine 0%.
