Instructions / Feeding Guide

How to use the Trixie Exotic Bamboo Nest:

• Select the Right Size: Match the nest size (9×10 cm, 11×12 cm, or 12×15 cm) to your specific bird breed, ensuring it is only used for small exotic birds like finches, canaries, or budgies.

• Position High up in the Cage: Secure the nest in an upper corner of the cage where birds naturally feel safest from predators and ground disturbances.

• Secure Firmly to the Bars: Attach the built-in integrated metal wire hooks firmly over the horizontal cage bars so the nest remains stable and does not wobble when birds land on it.

• Provide Nesting Materials: Place safe nesting materials such as coconut fiber, sharpia, or sterile nesting cotton inside the cage so the birds can line the interior themselves.

• Monitor and Maintain Hygiene: Inspect the bamboo weave regularly for accumulated waste or sharp loose fibers, and replace the nest entirely between breeding cycles to prevent mite or bacterial buildup.

About the Manufacturer / Vendor

Trixie
Trixie (Trixie Heimtierbedarf GmbH & Co. KG) is a prominent European pet supplies company headquartered in Tarp, Germany. The company was founded in 1974 by Danish entrepreneur Bonnik Hansen. It famously began as a humble, one-man operation utilizing just a single three-and-a-half-tonne truck to distribute basic dog leashes, toys, and treats. Since then, Trixie has grown into a European market leader. The brand supplies around 6,500 products to more than 8,500 specialty pet shops across 100 countries worldwide. Following years of relying on independent distribution partners, Trixie took direct control of its British operations by establishing a dedicated sales infrastructure, formally establishing TRIXIE UK Pet Products Ltd to seamlessly fulfill regional retail demand.
