TopSpec Calmer is designed to be fed to horses and ponies with anxious temperaments, particularly those that cannot cope with stressful situations such as showing, travelling and competing. Not all horses are anxious for the same reason so TopSpec Calmer has been developed with much more than a single ingredient approach. It contains a pure protected yeast, MOS, B vitamins, magnesium, tryptophan and sepiolite clay, which all act in different ways to help calm and relax responsive horses. TopSpec Calmer reduces anxiety without affecting normal behaviour or reducing presence. It can improve performance by improving focus and reducing the effects of stress. Some ingredients in TopSpec Calmer work within 1.5 hours but others may take up to 3 weeks. TopSpec Calmer contains only natural ingredients but no herbs. It is a very palatable, caramel flavoured additive that should be mixed into damp feed on a daily basis. It can be added to any combination of feeds and supplements, TopSpec nutritionists recommend that these are low in sugar and starch. A 3kg tub of TopSpec Calmer will provide a 500kg horse with 30 days supply.

Instructions for Use

Feeding Instructions:

• Introduce gradually and mix well into damp feed.

• Feed at a rate of 20g additive/100kg ideal body weight daily.

• 250kg Small Pony (10-12hh): Feed 50g (1 x heaped scoop) daily.

• 375kg Pony (12.2-14.2hh): Feed 75g (1.5 x heaped scoops) daily.

• 500kg Horse (15-16hh): Feed 100g (2 x heaped scoops) daily.

• 625kg Large Horse (16.2-17.2hh): Feed 125g (2.5 x heaped scoops) daily.

Zootechnical: Saccharomyces Cerevisiae MUCL39885 (4b1710) (Vistacell) to give 1,250 Billion CFU’s per kg.

Analysis: Calcium 4.4%, Phosphorus 0.4%, Magnesium 4.7%, Sodium 1.1%.

Crude Protein 10.3%, Crude Fat 1.6%, Crude Fibre 2.3%, Crude Ash 42%.

Nutritionally insignificant because of very low feeding rate.
