SPR Insect Based Dog Food is a nutritionally complete and balanced diet providing all the essential nutrients an adult dog needs and has been carefully formulated to ensure all the essential nutrients are provided using over 26% insect meal. Insects are a novel protein source and therfore less likely to cause an allergic reaction. They are also high in protein and low in saturated fats and sugars. Insects contain 15% more iron than spinach, double the amount of protein than beef, and have as much Vitamin B12 as salmon. SPR Insect Based Dog Food also contains Quinoa at 11.5%. Ancient grains are becoming an increasingly popular carbohydrate source in the pet food market as a result of their recognition and acceptance in the human market. Quinoa is an esteemed ancient grain that is also a great protein source providing an array of essential amino acids to the pets diet. This special recipe also includes a distinctive algae that has been specially chosen due to its high omega 3 fatty acid content, along with added Glucosamine and Chondroitin to help support joint heath.
