Mollichaff Original is a high quality chaff containing chopped, dust extracted straw with a light dressing of molasses and is designed to add bulk and fibre to your horse’s diet. The ingredients are blended using a special process which covers every part of the chaff evenly, making it highly palatable. This process also gives the chaff an open texture (unlike heavily molassed chaffs which can be sticky and lumpy). By stimulating the production of saliva and slowing down the passage of food throughout the gut, Mollichaff Original can also help to promote good digestion. In particular it will satisfy a stabled horse’s psychological need to chew, requiring up to 8000 chews per kilo to eat compared to as few as 1200 for concentrates. Naturally high in fibre, Mollichaff Original also contains added limestone to provide additional calcium for strong bones and healthy growth.

How much Mollichaff Original should I feed?

• Mollichaff Original should be fed as part of a balanced diet.

• It can be used to bulk up your bucket feeds and provide the fibre a horse needs.

• Depending on the size, weight, condition and workload of your horse, we would recommend feeding ½ - 2 scoops per bucket feed.
