Carefully mixed at low temperatures, and with valuable ingredients, these natural and healthy treats are ideal to be given as a reward. Banana provides healthy carbohydrates and fibre, as well as the valuable minerals magnesium, potassium and vitamin B6. Turmeric is India's sacred plant for good well-being and helps to support the immune system and digestion. Linseed is rich in vitamins, minerals and unsaturated fatty acids, and has a positive effect on digestion and promotes a healthy skin and coat. Leoveties also contain easy to digest carbohydrates from maize, grains and legumes to help provide the energy necessary for an active life. These treats also have added vitamins A, D and E to meet your horse's special fitness requirements for optimum strength and vitality. Leoveties are not only very tasty but also sustainable and environmentally friendly and the first treats that don't leave any waste behind. The stand-up pouch is 100% compostable and can be disposed of in the green bin or organic waste. Compared to the production of a PET plastic bag, 50% to 60% CO2 is saved during its production. The leoveties banderole can be disposed of in the waste paper bin, thus recycled back into new paper.

Leovet was founded by Dr. Ulf Jacoby in 1982. Born in 1939. In 1966, he received his licence as a registered pharmacist. In 1969, he was awarded a Ph.D., and then took on an executive position in research in the pharmaceutical industry. In 1974, he took over his parents’ pharmacy in Lahnau and also started keeping horses and riding in shows. It was his own interest and scientific curiosity, as well as customer demand, which inspired him to start the company Leovet, specialising in horse care products. Leovet horse care products are tailormade to match your horse’s needs. They offer products for care and sheen, fast regeneration after strenuous exercise, effective fly protection, for hoof and frog care, care of the longhair, skin and coat, supplementary feed, wound care and for the maintenance of equipment.
