Johnson's - One Dose Wormer Tablets for Puppies and Small Dogs up to 8kg (4 Tablets)

Directions for use:
These tablets are film coated and should not be broken or divided. If you are unsure about dosing your pet, speak to your Veterinary Surgeon. The tablets should be given whole with about one-fifth of the daily food ration in the morning when the dog’s stomach is empty. The remaining food should be given in the evening. Weigh your dog before treatment to accurately establish the correct dosage. You can do this by weighing yourself on the bathroom scales and repeating whilst holding your dog. The difference is the weight of your dog.

Adult dogs should be wormed routinely every three months. It is important to worm puppies very regularly for roundworm at two weekly intervals, from the age of two weeks to eight weeks. Worming should then be carried out at twelve, sixteen and twenty-four weeks of age. Thereafter, the adult regime of four times per year is recommended. Nursing females should be treated at the same time and as frequently as puppies up to twelve weeks of age.

Dosing Instructions:
Follow the instructions carefully. For routine treatment of small dogs & puppies give one 100mg tablet per 2kg bodyweight in accordance with the dosage guide below:

Dogs weighing up to 2kg: 1 tablet
Dogs weighing 2.1kg up to 4kg: 2 tablets
Dogs weighing 4.1kg up to 6kg: 3 tablets
Dogs weighing 6.1kg up to 8kg: 4 tablets

For dogs weighing more than 6kg, use Johnson's One Dose Easy Wormer (Size 2) for Medium Size Dogs & Puppies, or Johnson's One Dose Easy Wormer (Size 3) for larger breeds of Dogs & Puppies.

Do not exceed the stated dose. In the event of an overdose seek immediate veterinary advice.

Active Ingredient:
Each film-coated tablet contains 100mg of Nitroscanate.

Indications for use specifying the target species:
A broad spectrum anthelmintic for use in small dogs and puppies weighing between 2kg and 6kg. It is highly effective in a single dose against common canine nematodes (roundworm) & cestodes (tapeworm) in the UK: Toxocara canis, Toxascaris leonina, Ancylostoma caninum, Uncinaria stenocephala, Taenia ovis, Taenia hydatigena, Taenia pisiformis and Dipylidium caninum.

At the recommended dosage, the product gives limited control of Echinococcus granulosus.

Contra-indications:
When administered as recommended, tablets are unlikely to cause vomiting. If vomiting does occur, do not repeat. If signs of disease persist or appear, consult a Veterinary Surgeon. Do not administer to sick animals or those recovering from an illness. If a hypersensitivity or any other adverse reaction occurs, cease treatment. If symptoms or disease or appear, consult your veterinary surgeon.

Safety Advice:
Assess body weight as accurately as possible before calculating the dosage. For animal treatment only. Keep out of the sight and reach of children. Wash hands after use. Avoid direct contact with the skin and eyes. Wear gloves if you have any known hypersensitivity to the product.

Storage/Disposal:
Store in a dry place below 25°C and out of direct sunlight. Keep blister strips in outer carton. Dispose of empty packaging and any remaining product in household refuse.
