Johnson's  Insecticidal Spray Extra is an effective water based pump spray containing permethrin and kills common external parasites such as fleas, lice, etc. Johnson's Insecticidal Spray Extra also provides lasting protection against reinfestation. Suitable for small animals e.g, Pet Rabbits, Guinea Pigs, Rats, Hamsters, Gerbils etc., over 8 weeks of age.

* This veterinary medicine is marketed in accordance with Schedule 6 of the Veterinary Medicines Regulations - Exemptions for small pet animals.

** Please Note: This product contains permethrin which is very poisonous to cats.

Instructions / Feeding Guide

Directions for Use:

ALWAYS READ THE LABEL BEFORE USE.

• Shake well before use.

• Remove food and water before spraying.

• Avoid eyes, mouth and other sensitive areas.

• Use sparingly according to size of animal (e.g. see below).

Pet Rabbits and Guinea Pigs:
Comb or brush coat the wrong way and use 3-5 pumps of spray according to size.

Rats and other Small Rodents:
Do not spray directly on to animal but apply 1-2 pumps of spray to a small brush or cloth, and groom into into roots of coat all over body.

• Keep animals under observation for 30 minutes after treatment, then brush or comb thoroughly.

• If necessary repeat every 7 days until infestation has cleared.

• Occasional use is recommended to help protect against re-infestation and to deter other crawling and flying insects.

Also spray pet bedding, hutches, cages and regular resting areas.

Note:

Fly Strike - this product can also be used to help protect against Fly Strike - treat using dosage as above. Consult a Veterinary Surgeon immediately if Fly Strike has become established.

Contra-indications:

• Discontinue use if sensitivity or allergic reaction occurs.

• Do not use on pregnant or nursing animals or young under 8 weeks of age.

• After spraying, allow fur to dry before handling pet.

• Do not use any other flea or insect control product during the treatment period.

• If signs of disease persist or appear, consult a Veterinary Surgeon promptly.
