Johnson's - Ear Cleanser for Dogs and Cats - 18ml

Directions for use:
May be used once or twice weekly, or as required, to help prevent build up of wax and other debris. Warm the drops gently to body heat by holding the bottle in your hand for a few minutes before use. Hold the bottle above the ear and very gently squeeze 3-6 drops according to the size of animal (as shown below). Hold the animals head on one side for 15-20 seconds to allow the drops to penetrate the ear canal, massaging gently the base of the ear, before allowing the animal to shake it's head. Repeat with other ear. Wipe any excess cleanser and dislodged wax from the top of the ear canal with cotton wool.

For animals over 12 weeks of age.

Dosage Amount:

• Cat and Very Small Dogs: 3 Drops.
  

• Small Dogs: 4 Drops.
  

• Medium Dogs: 5 Drops.
  

• Large Dogs: 6 Drops.

Long-eared dogs:
Use drops as above, but long-eared dogs may also require regular cleaning of the underside of the ears. Apply the drops to cotton wool and gently wipe skin areas without probing into the ear.

Important:
Never probe inside the ears, as this can cause pain and injury to the ear canal and ear drum. Johnson's Ear Cleanser is NOT suitable for treating severe ear infections. Consult a Veterinary Surgeon immediately if there is a heavy, strong smelling discharge or serious inflammation, swelling or pain with severe scratching, head shaking or tilting.

Note:
Ear problems can also be due to mite infestation, in which case use Johnson's Ear Drops (or similar product i.e. Otodex Veterinary Ear Drops) to kill ear mites.
