SmartLick is a poured block supplying an essential blend of vitamins and minerals with a tasty vanilla flavouring for improved palatability.
This special blend of essential vitamins and minerals help to maintain ideal condition for every horse and pony. What's more, SmartLick also includes a yeast based prebiotic to support beneficial intestinal bacteria. Vanilla flavouring was chosen as it is one of the preferred flavours when palatability trials have been conducted on horses. SmartLick was concluded to be highly palatable in field trials conducted over several locations with numerous different equines. Using SmartLick ensures that your horse or pony can access the vitamins and minerals when they need them, providing a natural 'little and often' approach to feeding. Feeding Guidelines:

• SmartLick is suitable for all horses and ponies, at grass or stabled, regardless of age or workload.

• Introduce gradually into the diet before allowing free access.

• Recommended intake for a 500kg horse is 250g/day.

• Always aim to feed a minimum of 1.5% bodyweight as good quality forage.

• Always allow access to clean fresh water.

• To avoid bullying always offer a minimum of two tubs when feeding more than one horse.

• Contains copper – DO NOT FEED TO SHEEP

Horslyx Balancers were first manufactured in 1997 at their plant, based at Silloth in Cumbria. The debut product in the equestrian range was Original Horslyx and after initial success Respiratory, Garlic and Mobility Horslyx were introduced. In 2005 a bespoke extension was added enabling Mini Horslyx to be manufactured and today you can purchase Horslyx in packs ranging from 650g up to 80kg. Recently Mint and Pro Digest formulations have been added to the range in size 650g, 5kg and 15kg. Horslyx Balancers have been carefully formulated to balance the deficiencies in forage and grazing. This is a unique and innovative approach to ensuring that the modern horse receives an ideal supply of vitamins, minerals and trace elements to support optimum health and vitality.
