The Henry Bell Wild Bird Nest Box will attract, House Sparrows, Coal Tits, Blue Tits, Dunnocks and Nuthatches. It features a 32mm diameter entrance hole in the front of the nest box and comes without a perch in order to deter predatory attacks. The roof overhangs the front of the box, providing both protection against the elements, and predators at the entrance hole. The right hand side of the box also includes a panel which can be opened and used for both viewing and easy cleaning. A stainless steel hanging hook is also included for fixing the nest box to a tree or wall and also includes drainage holes at its base to keep the nesting birds warm and dry. The Henry Bell Wild Bird Nest Box is made from FSC timber and complies with all safety recommendations. This stylish nest box is easy to use, easy to clean, and will look attractive in any garden.

Positioning your Nest Box:
Site out of reach of predators and shelter from the prevailing wind, rain and strong sunlight. Position 4-6ft from the ground. Do not place adjacent to bird tables or other feeding stations. If fixing to a tree trunk, ensure the nest box is fixed on a downward angle to prevent rain ingress. Do not disturb the nest box once it is in use until fledglings have left the nest, usually by the end of August. Clean your nest box after the birds have finished breeding, usually between October and January. Remove any debris and old nesting materials and thoroughly scrub with hot water.
