Dr John Grain-Free Dog Food is a completely grain-free food formulated for sporting and working dogs that require a sensitive diet or those dogs that have difficulty in digesting cereals. The formulation is built upon an excellent chicken base of 33%. This contributes to the protein level of 25% and an oils and fats level of 10.5%, making it an ideal food for working & well exercised dogs as well as juniors and young dogs in the final stages of growth. As well as chicken and potato, the recipe contains vegetables and gravy. In keeping with their other feeds, Dr John Grain-Free dog food also incorporates a range of added ingredients that are designed to improve a dog’s overall health and condition as they get older, including green-lipped mussel extract, a source of chondroitin and glucosamine.

• Introduce the diet gradually over a period of 5-7 days until it replaces the previous food completely.

• The product can be fed dry or moistened with water or gravy to the consistency that your dog prefers.

• The amounts shown are only a guide and you should only feed sufficient amounts to maintain sound condition dependent upon the level of activity enjoyed by and the conformation of your dog.

• Always ensure that clean, fresh drinking water is available at all times.

• In order to maintain and control your dog’s weight to the optimum for the breed and size, the diet should be fed in conjunction with a year-round exercise programme.

• Do not be tempted to feed excessive amounts of titbits or treats.

Poultry meal (33% chicken), sweet potato (15%), white potato (11%), chicken fat, vegetables (6% peas), chicken gravy, beet pulp (1.5%), alfalfa, potato protein, minerals, linseed, mixed herbs (sage, oregano, mint, rosemary, turmeric and ginger), New Zealand green-lipped mussel extract, yucca extract.

*This recipe is formulated without grain but is made on a line that handles grain.
