Donald Cooke EMP is a complimentary bird food for budgies, canaries, finches and parrots, and made from the finest ingredients. A caged bird diet that consists of only seeds is not a complete diet. In nature birds do not just eat seeds, they also eat fruit, herbs, insects etc. All of these contribute vital nutritional components to keep them fit and healthy. Donald Cooke EMP has a large particle size, is less powdery, stays fresh longer and is highly palatable. The usual method of feeding EMP is to mix it with water to create a soft, crumbly, pleasant smelling mixture. However, it is not important how you feed EMP. For instance, your birds may prefer it dry or mixed with fruit and vegetables etc. Caged birds will benefit from EMP's superior nutritional goodness however you choose to feed it. For optimal results, feed EMP up to three times a day during rearing and once a day during the rest of the year. EMP should comprise about a quarter of the birds daily feed. It is also not necessary to add any further supplements to your bird's diet when using EMP.
