Dengie Healthy Tummy is a complete, high-calorie fibre feed for horses containing ingredients known to promote gut health including pure alfalfa which is naturally low in sugar and starch and is proven to be a natural buffer to acidity in the digestive tract. It provides 11.5MJ/kg of digestible energy, similar to a medium energy mix or cube and contains protexin in-feed formula which supplies prebiotics and yeast to promote a healthy microbial population vital for fibre digestion. Dengie Healthy Tummy also has a high specification of vitamins and minerals including B vitamins and additional magnesium and calcium to help maintain optimal digestive health. Dengie Healthy Tummy is also free from molasses and preservatives but does include a unique blend of herbs including oregano, cinnamon and ginger which are believed to be powerful antioxidants along with a light oil coating for slow release energy and coat shine. For horses at rest or in light work, Dengie Healthy Tummy can be fed as a complete feed. There is no need to add any mix, cubes or supplements as long as you are feeding the recommended levels. For horses in medium to hard work, Dengie Healthy Tummy can be fed alongside a beet feed to increase energy intake to meet the requirements of harder work. Dengie Healthy Tummy can also be fed alongside mixes and cubes to help counteract the effects of using cereal based feeds.
