Directions for Use:
First, brush the dog's hair back to reveal the tick. Then place the Ancol Ergo Tick Tool on the dog's skin, with the largest part of the wire loop directly over the tick. Slowly, but firmly, pull the tool ensuring the tick is trapped in the smaller part of the wire loop. Keep pulling smoothly, until the tick has been removed from the skin. Make sure all of the tick has been removed, then clean the skin with disinfectant.

Grooming Tips:
Grooming is a wonderful way to bond with your dog. However, dogs that are new to grooming should be introduced to it slowly. Begin grooming sessions when your dog is relaxed, if possible, after they have exercised. Use tools gently and avoid tugging on the skin or on knots or mats. Give your dog plenty of reassurance throughout the grooming session. Pause or end the grooming session if your dog becomes agitated or shows signs of stress. Keep grooming sessions short to begin with, and increase the length of the sessions as your dog becomes more used to grooming.
