Feeding Guide: (See image)

• Please make sure there is always fresh clean water available.

• Ensure your pet’s water bowl is clean and changed on a daily basis to avoid bacteria growth.

Diet Transition:

• To change your dog’s food, we recommend a gradual transition to help avoid stomach upsets. Generally, this takes around 7 days, but it is always a good idea to monitor your dog to check that the transition is going well.

• To start the transition, introduce the new food as a low proportion of their old - we would recommend a 25% new food to 75% old food ratio - and gradually increase the new-to-old food ratio over ~7 days, until your dog has completely transitioned to the new food.

• Ensure to monitor your dog’s behaviour and food consumption over this period.

• We would recommend a 25% new food to 75% old food ratio for the first few days, and if all the signs are good, moving to 50%/50% after ~4 days, 75%/25% after ~6 days.

• Finally, move to 100% of new food after 7 or 8 days if your dog continues to respond well and tolerate the new food.

• In addition, we would recommend to keep your regular feeding routine, mealtimes and eating areas the same while you are transitioning your dog to their new food.

• Please talk with your veterinarian if you have any concerns about your dog over this transition.
