The Intelec CE marked, PAR38 Industrial Heat IR 100w E27 230v is an infrared reflector bulb specifically designed for industrial applications due to the reinforced hard pressed glass construction. The reinforced glass is three times thicker than that of a standard infrared bulb making it exceptionally resistant to mechanical damage or splashes of water and therefore safe for use in agricultural and food preparation environments. This type of infrared heat bulb differs from traditional incandescent bulbs in that 90% of the energy transmitted is generated as heat rather than light, meaning that these light bulbs are specially designed to produce direct, glare-free warmth to animals, people and food. The Helios PAR38 Infra-Red Heat Bulb also has a long lifespan of 5000 hours, and the E27 screw fit base means that it can be used in conjunction with a variety of light fittings.

Instructions for Use:
Infrared Heat lamps are the most commonly used heating device used in animal breeding. They emit the most effective infrared radiation 1.2 - 1.4 µm. The recommended distance to suspend the heat lamp to the animals being heated is 0.6 metres. Always use professional heat lamp shades and lampholders to protect the animals from accidently touching the hot lamp and also to carry the heat away from the base (ceramic bulb holders are recommended). Protect the bulb from contact with water while heating. Cut the power supply before removing or replacing the bulb.
