The Gardman Heavy Duty Peanut Feeder is made from well constructed, strong and durable polished cast aluminium which fully disassembles for easy cleaning. Features include a pull-up lid, a wire mesh peanut cage and a handle to hang the feeder either from a tree, bird stand or bird table. The Standard Gardman Heavy Duty Peanut Feeder will hold approximately 270g of peanuts which will attract a wide range of wild birds to your garden including tits, finches, woodpeckers, nuthatches and many other bird species. The Feeder is also bite proof which makes it ideal for use in heavily populated squirrel areas.

How to Use:

• Simplly pull-up the lid, flip it over, and fill the mesh cage with peanuts.

• The Gardman Heavy Duty Peanut Feeder can be hung from a tree, feeder stand, bird feeding station or bird table.

Where to Site:

• Place your feeder 2 metres from cover, such as trees and dense bushes, to make it visible whilst providing a safe place to retreat.

• Put food out at the start of the day to ensure that birds can replace the energy they’ve lost overnight.

Feeding Tips:

• With food resources scarcer now, it is essential to feed garden birds all year round.

• Once you have started to feed the birds it is important to continue this, and develop a routine, as the birds will become reliant upon your help

Hygiene:

• Always ensure garden birds have plenty of fresh clean water for drinking and bathing.

• Clean feeding and drinking areas regularly with a mild disinfectant.

• Keep food fresh and dry, removing any wet food to prevent the spread of bacteria and diseases.
