SPR Insect Based Dog Food is a nutritionally complete and balanced diet providing all the essential nutrients an adult dog needs and has been carefully formulated to ensure all the essential nutrients are provided using over 26% insect meal. Insects are a novel protein source and therfore less likely to cause an allergic reaction. They are also high in protein and low in saturated fats and sugars. Insects contain 15% more iron than spinach, double the amount of protein than beef, and have as much Vitamin B12 as salmon. SPR Insect Based Dog Food also contains Quinoa at 11.5%. Ancient grains are becoming an increasingly popular carbohydrate source in the pet food market as a result of their recognition and acceptance in the human market. Quinoa is an esteemed ancient grain that is also a great protein source providing an array of essential amino acids to the pets diet. This special recipe also includes a distinctive algae that has been specially chosen due to its high omega 3 fatty acid content, along with added Glucosamine and Chondroitin to help support joint heath.

Ingredients and nutrition

Analytical constituents:
Crude Protein 24%, Crude Oils and Fats 10%, Crude Fibres 3.5%, Crude Ash 10%.

Composition:
Insect meal, quinoa, sweet potato, pea starch, peas, lentils, oats, chickpeas, minerals, hydrolysed vegetables, brewer’s yeast, insect oil, seaweed, mixed herbs (thyme, parsley, sage, marjoram, oregano, rosemary), algae, FOS, cranberry powder, glucosamine (125mg/kg), chondroitin sulphate (50mg/kg).

Nutritional additives/kg:
Vitamins: Vitamin A (Retinyl-acetate) 25,000 IU, Vitamin D3 (Cholecalciferol) 1,800 IU, Vitamin E (all rac-alpha tocopherol acetate) 245 IU.
