A 2.5w solar panel which has been specially designed to fit the Hotline Shrike Energiser. It works by directly powering the energiser in bright conditions and can be positioned in multiple ways to best take advantage of the sunlight. The pulse is ever so slightly faster when being powered by the solar panel but the Shrike Energiser still gives out the same voltage. The solar panel will not charge the Shrike's internal 3v batteries but it will extend their life, as the Shrike Energiser will only revert to using it's own internal batteries at night or in very dull conditions (when there is not enough daylight available). This is a high quality product and an ideal add-on accessory for your Hotline Shrike Energiser. *Hotline Shrike Energiser sold separately.

Instructions for Use

Directions for use: (also see the installation guide link above).

• To fit it, clip the solar panel's bracket tab into the top of the Shrike Energiser ensuring a tight fit.

• Connect the solar panel lead to the 12v battery/solar panel connection on the base of the Shrike Energiser (red - positive, black- negative).

• The panel can then be angled to catch the most sunlight and be tilted in any direction.

• To make the most of the sun, position the panel facing south. An angle of approx. 60 degrees is best during the summer months, 35 degrees in spring and 15 degrees in winter.
