Burgess Excel Nuggets is a delicious, complete complementary food for young rabbits & dwarf rabbits. Along with mint for extra tastiness, Junior and Dwarf Rabbit Nuggets contain higher protein levels for muscle development and are rich in nutrients specially tailored to faster metabolisms. Fortified with vitamins & minerals (for healthy eyes, skin and coat), this tasty feed also includes essential amino acids (important for growing rabbits), natural antioxidants (to support the immune system) and are naturally high in beneficial fibre (36%). Burgess Excel Junior and Dwarf Rabbit Nuggets also help to prevent selective feeding and contain special prebiotics and a probiotic to help develop young digestive systems.

Feeding Guide:
Your rabbit should have good quality feeding hay and/or fresh grass available at all times, as this should make up the majority of their diet. They should also have a constant supply of fresh water. To add some variety to their diet, include a portion of Excel junior rabbit nuggets, an Excel Nature Snack and some leafy greens too.

A muesli based diet may cause digestive issues for rabbits. Instead, we recommend a hay and nugget-based diet. You can transfer your rabbit’s diet over 14 to 28 days by slowly replacing the muesli with nuggets, which will prevent selective feeding. Make sure to monitor your rabbit’s weight too.
